- 1 packet (250g) self-raising flour
- 1 packet (usually 55 g) white onion soup
- 1 tsp bicarb
- 1 cup finely grated cheese
- 500 ml buttermilk (or plain yoghurt)
- 1 Tbsp mixed herbs
- Mix well and pour into individual greased loaf tins.
- Bake @ 180C for 50 minutes to one hour.
Tip: Use fresh finely chopped thyme and/or rosemary or freeze-dried herbs work if possible.
