Ingredients
- 175g unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp syrup
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1 tsp bicarb
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup coconut
Method
- Melt butter and syrup. Stir in bicarb – allow to “foam.”
- Add dry ingredients and mix well.
- Press firmly into a greased baking dish (+/- 1 cm thick.)
- Bake @ 300 degrees C for 20 mins.
- Cool slightly before cutting.
