- 1½ cups flour (375 ml)
- 1½ cups finely grated mature cheddar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp salt;
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp white pepper
- ½ tsp mustard powder
- About 1 cup milk to make dough to a pouring consistency
(You must be able to scoop the dough into patty pans easily)
- Combine all the ingredients and pour mixture into patty pans (half filled.)
- Bake @ 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
- Serve with butter and extra cheese or jam or marmalade.
