My mom’s fresh basil pesto – the perfect addition to any pasta or antipasti platter or as a topping to chicken, fish, pizza or bruschetta.

This “Tipsy Tart” is an old family recipe passed down the generations by my Granny Hazel and is basically a pecan nut and date tart with a rich orange brandied sauce.

Butternut and Orange salad with crispy bacon

This lovely, vibrant, fresh salad has delicious flavours of roasted butternut, orange segments, pine nuts and crispy bacon tossed in baby green salad leaves and served with a tangy orange vinaigrette dressing.
